Description

Embark on a culinary voyage to the heart of the South with an exquisite delight that embodies comfort and luxury: Southern Pecan Praline Cake. Overflowing with the sumptuous essence of buttery pecans and velvety sweet condensed milk, this dessert pays homage to the quintessential Southern charm and warmth.

Ingredients

Scale

1 box of butter pecan cake mix
1 tub of coconut pecan frosting
4 large eggs
¾ cup of vegetable oil
1 cup of water
½ cup of chopped pecans

For the Butter Sauce:
2 tablespoons of salted butter
1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
½ cup of chopped pecans

Instructions

Begin by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing a 9″x13″ baking dish.
In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, coconut pecan frosting, eggs, vegetable oil, and water. Beat until well blended.
Fold in the chopped pecans and transfer the batter to the prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean and the cake is golden brown.

For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until well combined and heated through, then mix in the chopped pecans.
Drizzle the warm butter sauce over individual servings of the cake or over the entire cake before slicing.
