Description

Indulge in the ultimate dessert experience with this Gooey Brownie Pie. Combining the rich, fudgy texture of a classic brownie with the elegant form of a pie, this recipe promises a decadent treat that’s perfect for any chocolate lover. Easy to make and irresistibly delicious, it’s the ideal dessert for special occasions or a comforting night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 Tbsp butter
  • 3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a pie plate or a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a heat-safe bowl, melt together the butter and 2 cups of chocolate chips until smooth, using a double boiler or microwave at 50% power in 30-second intervals. Allow it to cool.
  3. In an electric mixer, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, approximately 3 minutes.
  4. Mix in the cooled chocolate mixture.
  5. Fold in the flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined. Stir in the remaining 1 cup of chocolate chips.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 35-40 minutes until the center is puffed, and the top may crack.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool completely. Top with hot fudge before serving.

Notes

  • For a Gooey Brownie Pie with a twist, consider adding a layer of your favorite nuts, a swirl of caramel, or a dollop of peanut butter into the batter before baking.
  • Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra indulgent dessert.
  • Store leftovers covered at room temperature for up to 3 days. Reheat briefly in the microwave for a gooey texture.
