Ingredients
1.5 lbs beef sirloin, thinly sliced
4 cups potatoes, diced
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 bell pepper, thinly sliced
2 cups shredded provolone cheese
1 cup beef broth
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare Ingredients: Thinly slice the beef sirloin, dice the potatoes, and thinly slice the onion and bell pepper.
Layer Ingredients: In the crockpot, layer half of the diced potatoes, followed by half of the sliced beef, onions, and bell peppers. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients.
Season: In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour the seasoning mixture evenly over the ingredients in the crockpot.
Cook: Cover the crockpot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours, or until the beef is tender and the potatoes are cooked through.
Add Cheese: Sprinkle the shredded provolone cheese over the top of the casserole during the last 30 minutes of cooking, allowing it to melt and become gooey.
Serve: Once the cheese is melted and bubbly, garnish the casserole with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy the comforting flavors of this delicious crockpot cheesesteak potato casserole.
